Welcome to Seiki Sakei (“Seiki Sakei”, “we”, “us”, “our”). We’re an independent luxury brand - small-batch by design, detail-obsessed by choice. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) set out the ground rules for using our website (hosted on Shopify) and purchasing our products.

By visiting our site and/or placing an order, you agree to these Terms and the policies referenced here (including our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy, and Return/Refund Policy). If you don’t agree, please do not use the website.

1) Who we are

This website is operated by Seiki Sakei LLP, trading as Seiki Sakei, with its registered office at Pune, India.

2) Eligibility & responsible use

By using this site, you confirm that you are:

  • at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction (18+ in most of India), and
  • using our site for lawful purposes only.

You must not:

  • misuse the site, attempt unauthorised access, or introduce malware/viruses,
  • violate applicable laws, or
  • infringe intellectual property rights.

We may suspend or block access if we believe there is misuse or risk to the platform.

3) Our products (small-batch reality)

Our products may be limited in quantity, seasonal, or “limited edition”. We reserve the right to:

  • limit sales by customer, household, address, or order,
  • refuse or cancel orders that appear to be placed by resellers or dealers, and
  • discontinue products without notice.

Colours & visuals: We do our best to display product images accurately, but screens vary - so exact colour/finish may differ slightly.

4) Pricing, taxes & availability

  • Prices are shown in INR and may include or exclude GST depending on how your checkout is configured. The final payable is shown at checkout.
  • Prices, product descriptions, offers, delivery timelines, and availability can change without notice.
  • If we discover an obvious pricing or listing error, we may cancel the order and refund you.

5) Orders, confirmation & cancellation by us

An order is considered accepted only after:

  • successful payment (or payment authorisation), and
  • we confirm the order (via email/SMS/WhatsApp), and/or dispatch.

We may cancel an order if:

  • payment fails or is flagged as high-risk/fraudulent,
  • address/contact details are incomplete or unverifiable,
  • stock is unavailable, or
  • We reasonably believe the order is placed for resale or misuse.

If we cancel, we’ll refund paid amounts as per our Refund Policy.

6) Payments

Checkout is powered by Shopify. Payments are processed through third-party providers such as Razorpay, PhonePe, and PayU (as available at checkout).

  • We do not store card details, CVV, UPI PIN, or netbanking credentials.
  • Payment processing is subject to the terms and privacy policies of the payment provider you choose.

7) Shipping & delivery (what we promise, and what we can’t)

We ship to eligible locations within India as shown at checkout.

  • Standard delivery timelines and charges are shown at checkout.
  • Same-day delivery (where offered) is subject to cut-off times, serviceability, confirmation, and operational constraints, and may be available only in Mumbai (if stated on the site).
  • Delivery timelines are estimates - not guarantees - because logistics partners, weather, strikes, peak periods, and regulatory checks can cause delays.

Address accuracy: You are responsible for providing complete and correct delivery details. Any reattempt/return due to incorrect address may incur additional charges.
Risk of loss: Once the package is handed to the courier partner, transit is handled by them; however, we will support you end-to-end to resolve delivery issues.

8) Personalisation (message-in-a-bottle, notes, custom inputs)

If you submit personalised content (messages, names, notes):

  • You confirm you have the right to share that content, and
  • It does not violate laws or any third-party rights.

Personalised items may not be eligible for cancellation/return except where defective, damaged in transit, or incorrect due to our error - subject to our Return/Refund Policy.

9) “Mystery” / Limited Edition boxes - variation clause

If a product is described as a mystery or limited-edition curated experience, you acknowledge:

  • the experience may involve minor variations in components/packaging due to artisan sourcing, limited runs, or supply constraints,
  • any substitutions (if ever required) will be made to maintain a similar or higher standard/value, and
  • such variation is not considered a defect.

10) Returns, exchanges & refunds

Returns/exchanges/refunds are governed by our Return/Refund Policy and Shipping Policy published on the site. Those policies are incorporated into these Terms by reference.

11) User content (reviews, comments, messages to us)

If you share feedback, reviews, photos, or suggestions:

  • You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free right to use it for brand communication (unless you request otherwise in writing), and
  • You confirm it’s your original content and not unlawful, abusive, or infringing.

We may remove content that we consider harmful, misleading, or unlawful.

12) Intellectual property

All brand assets-name, logo, product names, designs, images, text, and creative direction-belong to Seiki Sakei / Seiki Sakei LLP or its licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, or commercially use any content without written permission.

13) Third-party services & links

Our store may link to third-party websites or services (couriers, payment providers, social platforms). We’re not responsible for third-party content, policies, or performance. Your use of third-party services is at your discretion.

14) Prohibited uses (quick list)

You must not use the site to:

  • attempt unauthorised access or scrape data,
  • transmit malware, spam, or phishing links,
  • post unlawful/abusive content, or
  • violate privacy or IP rights.

We can terminate access for violations.

15) Disclaimer of warranties

We work hard to keep the site reliable, but the service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access.

16) Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

  • Seiki Sakei will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages (including lost profits, lost data, or reputational loss).
  • Our total liability for any claim relating to a product or the site will not exceed the amount you paid for the specific order giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

17) Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold Seiki Sakei and its team harmless from claims arising out of your breach of these Terms, misuse of the site, or violation of laws/third-party rights.

18) Termination

These Terms remain in effect unless terminated by you (by stopping use) or by us (for breach, suspected fraud, or security risk). Obligations that should survive (payments due, IP, liability limits) will survive termination.

19) Governing law & jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be subject to the courts of Maharashtra State, India.

20) Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the brand evolves. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

Shipping Policy

Shipping Policy - Seiki Sakei LLP (India)

At Seiki Sakei, we don’t “dispatch parcels.” We ship a moment. Every order is hand-packed in our Mumbai studio/warehouse, sealed with care, and handed to trusted delivery partners for the final mile.

1) Delivery Partners & Tracking

We use third-party courier partners to deliver your order.
Once your package is picked up, you’ll receive tracking details via email/SMS/WhatsApp (as available). You can track your shipment using your order number / tracking link.

2) Shipping Origin

All orders are processed and shipped from Mumbai, India, to the shipping address provided at checkout.

3) Fulfilment & Delivery Timelines (Typical)

We ship as quickly as we can - because waiting is the hardest part.
Standard timelines (most orders):

  • Order fulfilment (packing + dispatch): 1–2 business days
  • Delivery after dispatch: 5–7 business days (often earlier for metros)

Valentine’s Season Delivery Windows (India):

  • 1 Jan – 7 Feb: Pan-India Standard Delivery (5–7 business days after dispatch)
  • 8 Feb – 12 Feb: Pan-India Express Delivery (availability depends on PIN code/serviceability; additional charges apply)
  • 13 Feb – 14 Feb: Mumbai Express (Same/Next-Day) (Mumbai only; limited slots; additional charges apply)

Note: All delivery options are subject to serviceability, cut-off times, courier capacity, and unforeseen disruptions (weather, local restrictions, etc.).

4) Delays (What happens if things slip)

Sometimes deliveries get delayed due to circumstances beyond our control - weather, local disruptions, courier capacity, regulatory checks, or serviceability constraints.
If your shipment looks delayed, we’ll support you and follow up with the courier. However, delivery timelines are estimates, not guarantees.

5) Shipping Charges

Shipping charges (if any) are shown clearly at checkout.
If you offer express/same-day delivery, those charges will also be shown at checkout and apply only where serviceable.

6) Address Accuracy (This is critical)

Please ensure your shipping details are complete and correct:

  • full address
  • landmark (if helpful)
  • PIN code
  • mobile number

If an order is delayed, returned, or undelivered due to an incorrect/incomplete address or unreachable phone, we may not be able to refund shipping/handling charges, and re-shipping may require an additional fee.

7) Unavailability at Delivery / Delivery Attempts

Our courier partners will typically attempt delivery up to two times and may contact the recipient before returning the package.
If delivery fails due to:

  • recipient unavailable / unreachable, or
  • refusal to accept delivery, or
  • repeated failed attempts,

the package may be returned to origin. Re-dispatch (if possible) may require additional charges.

8) Damaged Packages / Transit Issues

If your box arrives damaged or opened, please do not discard the packaging.
For any damage/wrong-item claims, we may require an unedited unboxing video showing the package unopened from all sides and the full opening in one continuous take (as per our Return/Refund Policy). This protects genuine customers and helps us raise claims with courier partners.

9) Serviceability & Restricted Locations

Some PIN codes may be temporarily non-serviceable due to courier restrictions. If your location is not serviceable after you place the order, we will contact you to:

  • update the address, or
  • process a resolution as per applicable policy.

Refund & Exchange Policy

Thank you for shopping with us. Please read our policy carefully before making a purchase. By placing an order on our website, you agree to this Refund & Exchange Policy.

1) No Refunds or Exchanges

We do not offer refunds or exchanges on any products once the order has been placed. Every purchase is final.

2) When we do help: Damaged Products

An exchange is applicable only in the case of damaged products, subject to the specific conditions mentioned below.

Reporting window
Damage claims must be reported within 24 hours of delivery.

What you must provide (mandatory for claims)
To validate a claim, we require specific video evidence:

  1. A clear, continuous unboxing video showing the package being opened from start to finish.
  2. The video must clearly show the damaged product and its original packaging.

Please note: Claims without a proper, unedited unboxing video will not be accepted.

What we’ll do once verified
Once the damaged product is verified and received back by our studio:

  • A replacement product will be dispatched within 7 working days.

3) Important Conditions

  • We reserve the right to approve or reject any exchange request if the mandatory conditions (video proof and reporting window) are not met.
  • The resolution is strictly limited to an exchange for a replacement product; no monetary refunds will be issued.

You share with us (at checkout / support): name, email, phone number, shipping/billing address, order details, and any personalisation text you choose to add (gift note/message-in-a-bottle).

We use your information to:

  • Confirm and fulfill your order (packing, shipping, delivery, returns)
  • Create your personalised gifting experience exactly as you intended

Our checkout runs on Shopify, and payments are processed by trusted third-party providers such as Razorpay, PhonePe, and PayU.

  • We do not store your card number, CVV, UPI PIN, or net-banking credentials.
  • We may receive limited payment confirmation details (like payment status and transaction reference) so we can process your order.

Payment processing is governed by the privacy policies of the payment providers you choose at checkout.

4) Who we share your data with (only to deliver your order)

To run the store and deliver your purchase, we may share limited information with:

  • Shopify (hosting and order management)
  • Payment providers (Razorpay, PhonePe, PayU)
  • Courier/logistics partners (to ship and deliver your order)
  • Select service partners that help us operate the store (e.g., customer support tools, analytics)

They are expected to use your information only for the service they provide.
We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights (for example, fraud or misuse).

5) Your choices and rights

You can ask us to:

  • Share what personal information we have about you
  • Correct or update your details
  • Delete your information (subject to legal/tax obligations that require us to retain certain records)

We use reasonable, industry-standard safeguards to protect your information. That said, no online system is 100% risk-free - so we continuously work to keep things tight.

9) Age restriction

Our store is intended for users 18+. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.

10) International processing (Shopify and partners)

Some services (including Shopify and certain tools) may process data on servers outside India. We take reasonable steps to ensure your information is handled safely and consistently with this policy.
